Company 21 responded to the 18600 block Fannettsburg road west at 15:03 p.m. for a reported auto accident, units arrived on the scene confirming dispatch units were on the scene with patient care and traffic control returning to service 16:21 p.m. later in the day

Engine 21-2 responded to the 17700 block Oak Avenue at 16:22 p.m. for medical assist a short time before returning to service at 16:35 p.m.

Company 21 responded to the 5400 block Turkey Road at 11:34 a.m. for a reported pedestrian accident, units were on the scene a short time before returning to service at 11:51 a.m. prior to returning to service

Company 21 also responded to the Aughwick Road, Fulton County at 11:51 a.m. for a reported trees down on wires, units arrived on scene confirmed dispatch took care of traffic control before returning to service at 12:24 p.m.

Turnpike Accident

 

 

At 0852 hrs E 21-2, A 21-8 dispatched to Exit 180 Westbound on the PA Turnpike for traffic accident w/ entrapment.  A 21-8, E 21-2 on scene with Fulton E 257, A 157 E 12-2 with a tractor trailer on its side, down an embankment with one trapped. E 21-2 cut steering wheel and cut fender away that had patient trapped. Pt was unconscious. PT was removed with help from all personnel.Transported to Fulton County Hospital then flown from there. Units cleared at 922 hrs

Tanker on its side with possible entrapment, units arrived on the scene to find one fuel truck on its side blocking northbound lane with negative entrapment and a small amount of fuel leakage fire personnel remained on the scene controlling any hazards before returning to service at 13:27 p.m.

Engine 21-2 responded to the 8900 Block Path Valley Road at 9:49 for reported wires down, units arrived on the scene to find high power lines on the ground arcing units remained on the scene until arrival of power the power company returning to service at 11:20.

At 13:58 engine 21-2 responded to the 13400 Block Upper Strausburg Road to assist Company 11 for a reported auto fire units arrived on the scene fire out assisted with general cleanup before returning to service at 14:32.

MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENT

Ambulance 21-8 and Engine 21-2 responded to PA Turnpike mile marker 186 west bound at 11:03 for a reported motorcycle accident. Units arrived on the scene and confirmed dispatch at which time fire personnel set up a LZ for Life Net 8-1 to transport patient to a local trauma center returning to service at 12:18.

OUTSIDE INVESTIGATION

At 11:21 a.m. Company 21 along with units from Company 12 responded to the 19000 Block Swailes Road for an outside investigation. Units arrived on the scene to find a controlled burn out of control. Company 21 and 12 personnel were on the scene extinguishing the fire until 13:59 p.m. before returning to service.

At 22:37 p.m. Company 21 units responded to a reported vehicle accident with entrapment on the PA Turnpike mile marker 189.6 east bound, units arrived on the scene to find one auto into the medial barrier and confirmed entrapment. Company 21 and Company 12 rescue and EMS personnel removed the patient from the auto before returning to service 23:32 p.m.

At 18:22 p.m. Engine 21-2 responded to the 11900 block of path valley road for a medical assist lifting. 21-2 personnel were on the scene a short time assisting before returning to service at 18:38 p.m. at which time Engine 21-2 was called to the 10000 block of pine avenue for a second medical assist for trouble breathing. Engine 21-2 personnel were on the scene a short time before returning to service at 18:45 p.m.

Due to high winds and heavy rain Company 21 units were called at 14:14 p.m. to the 2200 Block Path Valley Road for a reported auto accident units arrived on the scene to find one auto off the roadway negative injuries. 21 personnel was on the scene a short time controlling roadway hazards before returning to service at 15:22 p.m. While units were in route to the auto accident company 21 was called to the 9200 block of path valley road for wires down, Company 21 fire police were on the scene until utility company arrived.

CHILD STUCK IN RECLINER

At 5:10 a.m. Company 21 responded to the 18000 Block Hill Road for reported child stuck in a recliner. 21 personnel arrived on the scene to find a 4 year olds arm wedged in the recliner. At which time rescue personnel removed the child before returning to service at 5:37 a.m.

At 17:24 p.m. Company 21 responded to the 7200 Block of Path Valley Road for a reported auto accident. Unit arrived on the scene to find one auto on its side blocking the southbound lane. Rescue personnel took care of all roadway hazards and traffic control before returning to service at 18:26 p.m.

At 18:38 p.m. Company 21 responded to the intersection of Path Valley Road and Richmond Road for a reported auto accident. Units arrived on the scene to find 2 auto’s in the northbound lane with minor injuries. Personnel took care of all roadway hazards and traffic control before returning to service at 19:29 p.m.

At 10:08 a.m. Company 21 was called to assist Company 9 with a reported mobile home fire at the 13000 Block Main Street, Ft. Loudon while in route Company 21 units were placed back to service at 10:19 a.m.

AUTO ACCIDENTS

 

Company 21 was called to 180.8 eastbound on PA Turnpike for a reported auto accident at 09:29 a.m..  Shortly after responding engine 21-2 was placed into service by PA Turnpike Commission, but advised that ambulance 21-8 was to continue to the scene.

 

Later that day Company 21 was called to the 3000 block Path Valley Road for another reported auto accident at 18:50 p.m. units arrived on the scene to find 2 automobiles on the roadway with 2 patients with minor injuries patients were transported by BLS from Company 21 and Company 9 to the local medical facility.  Remaining units returned to service at 19:36 p.m.

Company 21 was called to the 17000 block Old Stumpy Lane,  Ft. Loudon at 18:23 p.m. for a reported residential fire alarm, a short time after responding it was determined no service was needed with units returning to service at 18:27 p.m.

Company 21 responded to the 4400 block Path Valley Road at 4:33 a.m. for a reported auto Accident.  Units arrived on the scene to find one auto off the roadway into a tree on the northbound side.  The driver of the vehicle was transported by ALS to the local medical facility with remainder of units returning to service at 5:08 a.m.

Due to the rainfall that day Company 21 was called to a residence at the 17000 block Path Valley Road at 22:02 p.m. for pump detail.   Company 21 personnel were on location a short time before returning to service at 23:04 p.m.  

 

Shortly after returning to service units were called again to the 17000 block Path Valley Road and the intersection of Stoney Road for a reported auto accident, units arrived on the scene to find one auto off the roadway.  Due to water crossing the roadway from the rainfall Company 21 and Company 12 fire police remained on the scene for traffic control until the arrival of Penn Dot.

At 18:00 hrs 21-1 transferred to Saint Thomas TWP. Co. 18 quarters to stand by while they out on a dwelling fire on Williamson Road.

Company 21units responded to 17000 block Fannettsburg Rd. for an outside investigation

Units arrived on scene to find 1 auto next to a structure fire personnel made a quick knock down of the fire keeping damage to the out building minimal before return to service 3:42am
